We also passed a go-ahead for a 4.8 Billion rail system. Holy crap! Does the rail connect Oahu and the Big Island? Portland got a big light rail system after Carter got elected because Neil Goldschmidt became transportation secretary. He used his political capital up on a 13 year old girl. Now the rail system has been greatly expanded and people ride around on it for free. I did that myself this summer. Go figure.
