Thinking ahead to 2012. Black turnout is normally pretty low. It was very high this year. Will it be as high in 4 years? Higher than it used to be likely, but not as high as this year. Historic elections only happen once. And the euphoria of the present will give way to .... 'so what, what is different now' in time.

Nor will white liberals be as driven and enthusiastic next time. The first black President comes one time.
