Re. . Siemens Nixdorf of Germany was the top European performer in fourth place with 5.8 percent.

I am somewhat surprised that Siemens Nixdorf only took the 4th spot; I thought they should've done better, being that Western Europe is their home turf.

My understanding is that SN is one of the largest vendors--if not the largest--using AMD's K6. I wonder if this would provide a microscopic view of the competitive situation over that part of the hemisphere.
