Hmmm. Here, a review of the KA7-100. But the neat thing here (which we don't often see in hardware review, and that's a true pity) is that he tested an Athlon at 700MHz at different bus speeds. The KA7-100, for this reviewer, gets up to a 138MHz bus clock. What's interesting here is that the gaming benchmarks manage to come close to a double digit percentage improvement over the 200/100MHz Athlon

This article makes me wonder how much the boost will be with DDR266. The reviewer use an Athlon 550 with the cache multiplier at 2/5 (he claims having a GFD doing it without a power source).

If we get 10% for the bus increase alone, what can we expect with DDR memory. But we must keep in mind that the PCI and AGP busses are overclocked along with the FSB...
