Fujitsu Ships Balance of Switch and Voicemail to All
Bases in Phase Ii

RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif., July 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Xecom Corporation (OTC: XECM)
today announced that the company's wholly owned subsidiary, Select Switch Systems, Inc., has
received the Fujitsu 9600 telephone switches for all of the bases in Phase II of the AAFES/Sprint
contract.

Select Switch Systems is on schedule with the installations of the telephone systems for all of the
bases in Phase II. By the end of July, Select Switch will be providing services to over 5,000 single
soldiers representing in excess of $3 Million in annual revenue. The gross long distance billings for
these soldiers has been estimated by Sprint to exceed $150,000 per month. Monthly charges and
other billings will exceed $100,000. By the end of August, Select Switch expects to be providing
service to a total of 70,000 service personnel.

Marketing the services on the Phase I bases is also going well. Select Switch Systems, Inc.
originally estimated that it should take approximately 120 days, from system turn up, to reach the
break even goal of 50% participation, however, the first two (2) bases put on-line have now
reached that mark in less than 90 days. Ft. Bliss, Texas reached the 65% participation mark a full
30 days ahead of schedule.

The bases where the installations have just been completed are also ahead of schedule regarding
sign ups. A third base has just topped 40% while three more are right behind in the 30+% range.
