I have heard about it. Jury is firmly out. The principle makes sense and it was widely used in Germany by their MD's. It has since fallen out of favour. It seems that Iron and other necessary metals can be depleted as well as the baddies so to speak. There is no guarantee that Calcium will be ripped off arterial walls in preference to any other site in this process. So far I would have to say it is a mystery.
