The Clearwire PC Card seems to be this one from Motorola in what they refer to as their "Expedience" product line:

specifications: nextnetwireless.com

The card plugs into a notebook computer PCMCIA "Cardbus" slot which is present on most notebooks made until about a year ago.

The Motorola/Clearwire card will not work in new notebooks (from Dell, Apple, others) that use an updated PCMCIA slot design called ExpressCard. They will need to come out with a new version of the card. Another problem might be that there are 2 versions of ExpressCard that are electrically and connector identical but they use different sizes for the actual slot - known as ExpressCard/34 and ExpressCard/54. /54 is bigger. Notebooks with an ExpressCard/54 slot such as the Apple MacBook Pro can accept either a /34 or /54 type of card. Dell has used the /34 slot type on some notebooks, I don't know if they have standardized on that.
