Transpacific Broadband Group, Inc. has signed a five-year agreement with London-based Mobiclear, Inc. and Bastion Payment Systems Corp. for the sale of the electronic Personal Identification Verification (e-PIV) solution in connection with credit and debit card transactions.

Mobiclear is a listed company in the Nasdaq and German Deutsch bourses while Bastion is an information technology in the Philippines.

Under the agreement, products and services to be offered in Asia will be purchased using Mobiclear's multi-gateway solution in the form of electronic business, including Internet shopping, business-to-business purchase transactions and retail shopping.

Local infrastructure and data network will be provided by Transpacific. It will host virtual private networks using voice over Internet protocol or VoIP communications and other value-added services between Mobiclear and its clients.

Bastion, on the other hand, will supply payment solutions, software and its carrier-neutral Internet data center.

The companies target to generate up to $5 million in revenues in the first year of partnership, up to $15 million in the second year, and as much as $25 million in the third year.

Mobiclear said the agreement was forged to alleviate credit and debit card fraud on the Internet and in brick and mortar stores, which has been estimated at $20 billion annually.

Mobiclear's e-PIV solution aims to provide security on purchase transactions, whether on the Internet or in shops, across the globe. -
