Well it looks like we won't have to wait until '97 for RBOC contracts. And my feeling is one RBOC deal will lead to more. I've been holding a little MSCM since the Votan implosion and added more at $9 this morning. I'm glad to see MSCM finally making headway and hope we can get this thread going because MSCM looks prime for a continued move up. Anyone want to take a stab at the kind of revenues we can expect from this deal? AA

PITTSFORD, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 22, 1996--MOSCOM
Corporation (Nasdaq National Market:MSCM) today announced that it has
received a letter of intent from a Regional Bell Operating Company
for purchase of MOSCOM's INFO/MDR products. Sales are subject to the
signing of a contract. The identity of the RBOC and the terms of the
agreement will not be announced until a contract is signed.
Commenting on the announcement, Albert J. Montevecchio, MOSCOM
President, said, "We are taking the unusual step for MOSCOM of
announcing a letter of intent prior to the signing of a contract
because of the significance of this development and our confidence
that a contract will be signed. Material terms of the agreement,
including price, have been agreed upon. We hope to sign a contract
and begin product deliveries before the end of 1996. This is a very
significant milestone for MOSCOM which we have worked toward for
several years. Selection by a RBOC will help to solidify INFO/MDR's
position as an industry standard."
The INFO/MDR family is a call record collection, transmission and
processing system for telephone companies. It is in use at telephone
companies throughout the United States and United Kingdom providing
call detail records for Centrex and Virtual Private Network
Subscribers.
Montevecchio added, "This particular RBOC is planning to use
INFO/MDR to offer Station Message Detail Records ("SMDR") to all of
its Centrex customers company-wide. Standard delivery of SMDR will
be done through INFO Collector systems. Centrex customers desiring
optional real time SMDR will be served by a MOSCOM INFO Monitor
message processor. MOSCOM's Emerald software will be provided to
Centrex customers requiring a Windows based call accounting user
interface. INFO Collectors will be the first part of the INFO/MDR
system installed by MOSCOM."
MOSCOM Corporation is engaged in the design, production and
servicing of telecommunications management, voice processing and
voice recognition products for users and providers of
telecommunications services in the global market.
