Printrak presentation and break out session w/ management. We are all pretty
familiar with Printrak and the market it addresses (AFIS obviously) so I
won't get into that. While they do have their own single fingerprint capture
device, they are not really going after those markets the way IDX is.
However, I wanted to point out that I asked what the status of the Japanese
RFP (request for proposal) was and whether Printrak was bidding there. Here
was Printrak management's answer (paraphrased):

No, we did not bid there and we're really not sure what the timetable is.
Japan has chosen to buy a test unit (or some very small sample amount) from
three different vendors. However, it really doesn't matter because NEC IS A
