<<How does this work? You have another ISP and connect to AOL via that
ISP?>>

I started doing this with Compuserve when I moved to an area with only the $0.10/minute 800 number access. I now pay $4.95 per month for three hours access to CIS (about all I ever use these days) and my monthly ISP fee. I open MacCIM and dial up the ISP, the TCP/IP software takes over and connects me through the internet "gateway" to CIS. I could go the other way and use CIS as my access provider to the internet but it is much slower and costs more.
