I agree. The advertising may be working well now (most ad agencies probably would mess up some of the 'run of the mill' ads Corel runs mostly aimed at trade mags, and would charge more for them), but there would seem to be advantages to getting new blood into your campaigns. Some of the bigger companies (eg. beer companies) typically change agencies when they feel they need a change. Maybe Corel will try to grow like crazy with the benefit of their current ad strategy and then contract out to do 'big and stately' advertising campaigns when they become 'big and stately'. Personally I look forward to the day when Corel can do elegant, low-key advertising (and lose that big, gold lettering!!!) because they are already a household name. That day is surely approaching!
