Christians are merely passing through this world. I would question the salvation of a professing Christian that would desire to control this world. The bible says that the gospel shall be preached as a "witness" unto all nations, not as a 'salvation' unto all nations. Some might misinterpret this passage as a desire on the part of Christians to control the world but it is not so.

Christians desire that Jesus control the world for it is His to control; however, that shall not happen until the eminent return of Christ.( for the unbeliever why sweat it ! If Christ returns true believers will have been taken away, and the question is moot.) If He doesn't return you will still have your world to control; it has always been yours and will continue to be so, unless of course Jesus returns. )

We are but subjects of a spiritual kingdom. Christ said that His kingdom is not of this world. The kingdom of heaven is in the hearts of those that Jesus calls His own.. In Christ.gregor
