MeDroogies, What a wonderful handle.

Jesus said "Judge not lest ye be judged" in one context,
And "Why don't you judge for yourself what is right" in another.

So if we take these things out of context, all we could conclude is that Jesus couldn't make up His mind.

No the adulteress was not Mary Magdalene (that we know of). She is described as "a woman caught in adultery".

That laws are made by men who had broken them at some point in time is not in my opinion what makes them ridiculous.

As a matter of fact that is exactly the point of my distress about that very teaching being misunderstood; "you without guilt cast the first stone".

If we can't judge, then we just emote. If many believe we need to be saints to confront evil, I despair.
