IMO, the only way Saddam ruled in his country was using his Baathist party troops or Republican Guard or whatever you choose to call them, to hold down the citizens...I call them terrorists. Couple that with the fighters that are coming in from other countries, and I don't know what else you could call it.

Terrorism is violence perpetrated against innocent noncombatant civilians for political reasons. Attacking an invading and occupying force is not terrorism.
