Brett, I may be way off base here, but when I looked at these numbers I read current short shares as 27387 shares, previous month short was 19677 short shares, change as 7710 shares (increase), % change as +39%, and average daily volume as 307,328 shares. I figured the short numbers are shares, not lots of 100 because the average daily is in shares.
If the number of outstanding shorts (in August) was 27,387 shares, shorts were insignificant. The real question is what is the current short status, after the Reg S effect?
If I'm wrong, somebody please correct me.
