I would say that basing your investing decisions on political distinctions that became irrelevant 20 years ago is not a good thing, but that just MHO. Ortega's running mate was one of the head Contra guys, and these days he is closely allied with the Catholic church hierarchy. It is very arguable the Sandinistas now represent the establishment in Nicaragua. LC
