150 million microprocessors or more will be produced world wide in Y2001...AMD wants 30 to 40 million of those to be AMD microprocessors....Wrt SOI, being smaller is advantageous, it seems, at least in the initial stages of SOI evolution...(INTC's walls seem to be closing in from all directions!!!)
