One thing we really need to get a handle on is China. With the recent announcement that they will no longer export coal it starting to look to me like they might be the "wild card" that the market is seeing but we aren't. Saw a chart on oil consumption in China over the past decade and it looked like this years NASDQ chart. Unfortunately I couldn't post it here. It would be nice to be able to quantify just what the hell is going on over there.
