The extreme rightwing is infected by mental illness.
Mental illness is often defined as believing in a reality which doesn't exist. Combine with that Fascist style exploitation of patriotism, over-compensation for feelings of impotence and pseudo-religious bigotry and you have a dangerous mass infection.

Judging from you, Coulter and the smearvets, it's a combination of willingness to be totally dishonest, old demons, belief in out-dated myths, criminal minds, racism, support for thievery on a grand scale, hating nature and the environment, extreme jealousy, longterm sexual shame and frustration, xenophobia, ignorance, cult-like dementia and admiration for corruption.
