IMO, while it is common to want to get all of the bad news out as soon as a new president takes over, so that s/he can look good in the next few quarters and blame all past mistakes and shortfalls on his or her predecessor, I don't think that logic holds quite as much when your predecessor is your boss. If I am not mistaken, the previous President has stayed on as CEO/Chairman of the Board. So, IMO, the new president is not going to have the opportunity to bash his predecessor all that much...just my IMO.
