Hi RH, by then the euro should be well rooted and understood, so the change appears to be broader acceptance. Whether or not this translates to a stronger euro is anyone's guess because it is the funds and larger speculators who call the shots, whereas the public is more or less told what to do until it sinks in. A stronger euro in popular mantra would translate to higher gold prices because USD-priced gold is less expensive. A contrary argument should be made for falling currencies and that concept is "if my currency is going downhill fast, move into a traditional store of value - gold," but that notion is rarely publicized. The mainstream press will take the opportunity to attack gold in various ways lacking any credible research and publish the approved message -- "buy dollars" or "buy T-Bills," U.S. of course.

Sorry for the delay.
Regards,
banco
