re: I'm reminiscing on how I used to get scolded by the hawks for suggesting a couple of years ago that Iraq could very easily become a quagmire, like Vietnam.

If you ask them now, they will say they knew all along that it was gong to be a quagmire, and that quagmires are good... and of course that liberal partisan traitor stupid commie Democrats are the root of all evil.

And that it wouldn't be a quagmire if the 'libs' would only get behind the war effort.
