I have received a copy of the amended complaint from milberg weis. it confirms (it quotes sec internal documents) that SOLV & RENDALL IS BEING INVESTIGATED. The scope of the investigation is regarding Mr. Rendall's alleged margining of restricted stock (by removing the legend). The investigation also encompasses WMDC, and their relationship to SOLV & MR Rendall. The SEC has subpoena'd WMDC & they have moved to quash it. ON Feb 21, 1997 a judged dismissed WMDC's motion. WMDC & Jill mAckey will have to be deposed/testify. SOLV is not only being investigated for the stock manipulation by the mob etc. This is one of the many key arguments in the class action lawsuit. SOLV misrepresents the scope of the sec's investigation(s). good luck, racer BTW, the way I understand it, yesterday's decline was not due to the negative news (entirely). Someone dumped 500,000 shares (or at least they started dumping it). This cannot be confirmed at this time.
