From another message board:

Which John Kerry will you vote for?

Author: Timski - 02/16/2004 (17:52)

The John Kerry who fought in Vietnam, or the John Kerry who fought against the war in Vietnam?
The John Kerry who voted in the Senate to go to war with Iraq, or the John Kerry who opposes the war and blames the President?

The John Kerry who praised the McCain – Feingold restrictions on political contributions by saying, “This bill reduces the power of the checkbook and I will therefore support it”, or the John Kerry who saved his campaign in December by writing it a $6.4 million check?

The John Kerry who abhors “special tax giveaways for the privileged and special interests”, or the John Kerry who supported billions in ethanol subsides, mostly for agri-business? (ah! corn growing, first caucus Iowa).

The John Kerry who opposes same sex marriages, or the John Kerry who supports same sex civil unions.

The John Kerry who opposes same sex marriages, or the John Kerry who was one of only 14 Senators who opposed the Defense of Marriage Act?

The John Kerry whose advisers circulated a newspaper article that said the Massachusetts senator personally opposed abortion "as an article of faith" because he is required to do so as a Catholic, or the John Kerry who voted against banning partial birth abortion and has said he will only nominate Supreme Court Justices who support abortion? (with a straight face he claimed this is not a litmus test).

My, my! Who said there are no real differences between the stances of the Democratic Party Candidates? John Kerry has plenty of different stances.
