Tom, the fact that IBM/MOT are using benchmarks against an Intel chip when they release thier "newest" POWER/PC chip is a clear indication to me that POWER/PC is losing the battle to Intel, and fast! I was an engineer at IBM during the "halcyon" POWER/PC days in the early 90s, when all the talk was that POWER/PC was going to be used in everything from PCs to Mainframes. Boy, times have changed. joey
