>>Armed with these predictions I have managed a substantial negative return.<< :-) this is a great stock isn't it ;-) ed, i think the stock will have a hard time going up on such news. why? they said three months ago that the future looked good. a big loss wasn't supposed to be the result of rosey scenario ;-) however, it might not go down, either. they may be able to pull a xlnx and say that next q will be good for 6 or 7 qs and the suckers will believe them. mu isn't my only investment. in a very real sense, it is as much a hedge against my long positions as it is an individual investment. an insurance policy for my longs, if you will. sure, when mu goes up a buck i lose some dough on my puts and larry makes fun of me. but if mu goes up, my long positions tend to go up also. so i lose one third or one fourth of what i gain. if i get laughed at for that then larry can keep laughing. it makes two of us :-)
