This could be part of a major conspiracy. That poor cat and dog may be merely the pawns of the ruthless Bilbo, who, refusing to accept his has-been status, is trying once again to make a comeback. Tonight I will close our bedroom door just in case Tesh and Myers have been recruited during our absence by the evil one. Whooooa- now that I think of it, the neighbor who fed them while we were gone, left a message saying to call her ASAP- but when I did, she wasn't home... maybe the blood on the living room carpet ISN'T birdblood....
