No one who has referred to Osama as America's "buddy" has ever produced any evidence of that. And they would if they could.

The response to this is usually an "eye roll" and a statement to the effect that you don't know what the evil CIA was up to. Osama was getting funded by the Saudis, as were the rest of the Arab Wahhabis in Afghanistan. If he had been part of our crowd, we would have funded him. The attitude was, "Lets get the Russians."

This "We are responsible for Osama/Saddam" is the "Chomsky" response to the world. Evil America!
