I stumbled across Raging Bull during the week of the "correction" when I was watching the 6:00 news one night. Two people were at a computer with RB on the screen, and I had never heard of it. I decided to check it out and then was quickly attracted to Dr' Bob's TA column, which led me to the board.
I often wonder how different my situation might be if I had learned things from the people on this board before that fateful week. Would I have converted to cash in late March? Would I have been short instead of long in early April? I'll never know, but at least now I'd like to think that I have a little bit (and I stress, a little bit)more of an idea what I'm doing now.
While I still made some stupid mistakes in July, I'm steadfastly trying to rebuild my portfolio, one peanut at a time, as well as I can. Good luck to you as well. |
