Paul, I must say you have changed your tune quite a bit. This is what you had to say shortly after PRLN announced Rhodes' resignation.

techstocks.com

i read the prln novel
so they bought a magazine from two board
members//interesting
now they fold it after losing lots of money and
lots of shares for it. great thinking.
then they raise cash and the best value they could find was,
to buy prln shres in the open market. why?
great thinking from the board!!!
now i got to think .. this is the way a great
company runs.. in circles.
then they give away 350 thousand warrents for
35 thousand dollars. great idea!!!
now i know why they monitor the internet board..
great ideas are born here folks.
i like the company, but, the leadership? now i know
why they wanted to replace the top manager..
he gets to take the claim for leading the
rest into these great ideas..
magazine
stock buy back program
35 cents warrents
even the preferreed stock deal
we need more ideas from the management like the above to
generate more confidence in the current managers
so we need to find a great new president to lead
prln to even greater glory. lets see, what can we offer
that person??
more of the same/
love the company and the products.
management? i leave those ideas to the
wagaon master.. whomever that may be,
i am going back to my concerns about the stock..
i can figure out stock prices. its management that
will take us to new highs...

It sounds like back in January you thought Rhodes was the villian and that PRLN would be better off without him. What caused you to change your mind?

As far as your question of whether I believe the legal system would serve justice: I could give a flippant answer and say "O.J. Simpson". This answer would be a cute way of saying the legal system doesn't always get it right. But I believe it gets it right more often than not. As someone said of capitalism (I think it was Churchil, but I could be wrong), it's the worst system except all the others.

But let me give you a more serious answer. Very often cases like this can take months or years to sort out and cost hundreds of thousands in legal expenses. It's possible that the whole thing was decided yesterday in court, but I wouldn't be surprised if this drags on a while. The major problem is, PRLN doesn't have years to waste and hundreds of thousands in legal fees to play around with. All I can say is that Rhodes had better be damn sure he has an airtight case against Babish before squandering the company funds in court. And if the case turns out to be frivolous there is always a danger that the court could require the company to pay Babish's legal fees as well. Unfortunately, Rhodes refusal to explain his behavior before the stockholders is not that of a man who is confident in his position.

Robin

P.S. If PRLN won its case against Babish in court yesterday I would expect a press release announcing its victory today. If we don't see a press release I think we should interpret this as either a PRLN loss or that the case is still ongoing and eating up more of PRLN's money.
