Really bitter-sweet.

And what a treat it would be to have a crow or raven "friend." There is a Raven family that returns to our woods every Spring, and there is a group of crows that live in town all year round. I talk to them when I'm on my walks, but so far they steer clear. I was thinking I need to bring a trinket for them to get the ball rolling so to speak.
