Bob, Same can happen on the up side. Normally with a biotech that gets FDA approval, there can be so many buyers at say $50 per share, but because of the good news, absolutely nobody is willing to sell for anything under $70 per share. This imbalance can halt a stock for quite a while til matters get sorted out. It is almost always a signal of a major up or down move when the stock trades again. Cube
