Yes, it's great news to hear of diamonds being under there. - The market already expected this much, it appears. As you pointed out, in a 380kg sample 5 wee crystals at this depth is not enough to excite the market. Perhaps also affecting perception is the fact that Kenn. has decided to hold off on drilling the remaining targets that were already announced to be part of the 1998 drill program, assuming they meant by the end of the year. Personally, I think it's wise they are holding back till 1999 for a cheaper drill program. - No comments from Kenn. on depths on the last two new kims. Where'd the "Valkyrie" come from? Here's from previous NR (Oct 20/98):
Approx. size of Anomaly Drilled/Confirmed Target (m) Kimberlite/Depth
Phoenix 400 x 400 Drilled, kimberlite intersected at 102.7m
Roc 200 x 200 Drilled, kimberlite intersected at 120.4m
Dragon 300 x 350 Drilled, kimberlite intersected at 135.9m
Wyvern 1,000 x 150 Drilling commenced
Chimera 150 x 100 To be drilled in 1998
Pegasus 400 x 300 To be drilled in 1998
Griffin 400 x 400 To be drilled in 1998
Xena 300 x 300 To be drilled in 1998
Medusa 1,400 x 150 To be drilled in 1998
