Jim - Re: "Hey Paul (or anyone else), wouldn't it appear that SUNW's
days are numbered?"

I wouldn't count Sun out at all.

Whatever they are doing, they are keeping their cutomer base "satisfied". And, they seem to be able to deliver COMPLETE - hardware & software - solutions for their server/internet customers.

No matter what Microsoft would like us to believe about "NT", Sun's UNIX is a well-debugged, robust and scalable OS.

Perhaps the "Sparc" architecture may be limited in the future - but I think Sun itself will do fine.

By the way - I would be interested in purchasing an old Sun 386i if you (or anyone) can provide a source. Thanks!

Paul
