So true! In addition, all those wizards running AIG, Citigroup (Robert Rubin) and Lehman Brothers ran their companies into the dirt and we're supposed to bail them out without anyone going to jail.

I'll bet any amount of money, if Joe the Plumber were sitting on the board of Citigroup and being paid 10 million dollars a year like Robert Rubin, the company wouldn't have needed
billions to stay afloat.

Common sense trumps egotistic elites on most days of the week. Despite the worship of those who bow to the alter of Harvard Business school degrees.

Think about it, those clowns were given a company to manage that had literally billions in assets, billions in investments and billions in value and they drove them into the absolute dirt! The clowns who managed Citigroup, AIG, and others shouldn't be allowed to manage a local Starbucks, because of their total incompetence. Anyone with an associates degree in economics could have succeeded if placed in the same environment.

It's really not as hard as people think to run a company that has a long track record of success with loyal business customers. You simply don't let the company operate like a Casino Roulette table, and let management steal millions in unwarranted bonuses.

We should be sending those guys to jail and lambasting them like Enron execs, but instead we're giving them hundreds of billions more to waste. It's incredible the catatonic state the American public is in regarding these scam artists who are worshipped as elite masters of the universe. The only thing they've mastered is duping Americans with their silvers spooned degrees to believe we need them.

Many actually think it's Bush's fault the companies failed so pathetically. Yet, not one of them can tell you even a remote connection between their business failing and the economic policies of President Bush...
