Look Koan- I don't care who puts their name on an idea- who do you know that is like this? Do you know anyone on SI like that? And Islam is not Ted Cruz on steroids. Islam is not one thing. It's more like Baskin Robbins- and their 31 flavors. Christianity isn't one thing. Judaism isn't one thing. There are flavors to these religions. And let's face it, many people, apparently, want a big guy in the sky- so the thing to do, imo, is to support the less harmful flavors. Saying irresponsible things that make all Muslims seem the same is foolhardy and counterproductive.
