How about letting Iran know that if it ever tests a nuclear weapon it will be "wiped of the map" by the overwhelming nuclear force of the rest of the world. That's a "military solution". Iran's assured destruction with nothing mutual about it.

Besides the obvious moral implications, we'd spend the next three generations dealing with vengeance enraged muslims...there has to be a more enlightened solution.
