The problem with AT&T is that they are in a powerful, leadership,
position, but do not know how to effectively take advantage of it.
MCI's management is doing a little better but they are struggling.
Sprint will eventually finish last, although their bottom line looks
good right now.

AT&T has a loyal customer base that always thinks that they are
the best....no matter what. In time, this strong customer base
might be eroded, unless someone competent at AT&T takes decisive
actions to move this company forward.
