If you're going to look at market cap/customer ratio, IMHO (very humble considering I'm not doing the analysis here), I think you need to take into consideration some measures of the value of those customers to each institution, such as number of products or transactions per customer. I think you also need to consider how many players are collaborating to deliver a given unit of value to the customers and how exactly the revenues from the products/transactions is being divided up by the suppliers.

For instance, the $19 for the e*trade execution of a brokerage transaction is all e*trade's. But for the transactions that 'belong' to CKFR, not all the revenue(or savings for banks, retailers) goes to CKFR.

Are there any good numbers for how much CKFR makes on each customer transaction?
