They had more shares back then that they could issue for cash in a private placement. They also had credibility which they have now squandered with their lies and their missed deadlines. No one expected them to make any money back then because they were just a startup company. They don't have that excuse any more. They have a developed technology that should be making money. They shouldn't be flat on their back at this point. If they can find a banker or a pharmaceutical willing to lend them money or buy the rights to AndroVir they might survive. But without credibility and with little cash they go into negotiations with a weak hand. PRLN will not be a strong company if they have to give up their right to AndroVir just for cash to survive.
