JOHN, Are you saying that you are smarter than the above patients and doctors, i.e. you are among the select few that can interpret the implications of my posts and then decide that such implications are incorrect?

I must admit that you have a unique perspective. Again I did not suggest that either patients stop taking medications or MDs stop following established guidelines for treating HIV. I simply indicated that resistant strains will develop eventually, and the time frame is dependent on many factors. I also indicated that I would put 2 years in the "short term" category.
