Ditto! Jill, Poet, edamo & PAL I had the same thing in mind of selling JDSU Mar 200 Puts. To my surprise, DLJDirect does not even have a sell Put order on their menu. I called and was told that their Institution does not believe in put selling??? I can see the danger in selling naked puts. But if you have the underlying stock its just a protection. I am also consider transfering my account to another broker. I have never solds puts before, this is all new to me, its sounds like a very smart trading strategy in tandem with selling covered calls. You have cash flow coming to you from either direction. BTW, I was able to get some MSFT 105 yesterday, if this works out, nice little roll of the dice gamble. Thanks to the thread and all!!!
