But those are the same numbers Unicom projected in the summer. They haven't revised them, despite recent developments. They dropped the reference to the 1999 target, but kept the 2003 target the same.

Tero, I'm not sure if you are just trying to confuse the facts or are really thick in the head but you clearly quote a 40M sub projection for 2003 and Perry LaForge from the CDG quotes Unicom as projecting 30M subs in the exact same time. Your 40M claim is 33% above the claimed amount.

I'm not going to go back and look up the Unicom June projections just because "Tero said so", but even if they did say 30M instead of the 40M you claimed, SO WHAT? Is it impossible for your brain to imagine an updated projection, based on the latest news, that has the initial rollout happening a few months later and the quarterly subscriber growth a couple percent higher?

Whatever bone you have to pick with CDMA, it doesn't have a lot to do with our investment in Nokia. I predict that Nokia's profits from CDMA products will soon dwarf GSM and analog profits combined.
