Tom--I think this move is very, very smart. And--if I'm not mistaken this is the first press release in which an OEM speaks of IOMG as the "emerging standard in removable storage". So it looks as if computer manufacturers are coming round to this notion: when will Wall Street? Note also that NEC says it looks forward to working with IOMG to meet the FUTURE storage needs of its customers. Nice, too, that now the Zip is finding a home in a full range of products: low- cost AcerBasics, ordinary PCs likely to be bought for home use, and corporate models. So what'll the next announcement be? Confirmation of the Apple Pippin deal? (Old news, but not yet official.) Maybe Gateway? Or--do we dare hope???--Compaq? I have my doubts on the latter, but IOMG never lacks for surprises. Janice
