According to NetGuide, Internet Explorer 4.0 beta tested very well. This will bring significant changes to the desktop, and vast improvements to the internet presentation during searches. And of course, Microsoft was insightful enough to leave some room available to advertise and push its products. They also gave AOL positive comments saying the Buddy List features and Instant Message features are strong and that AOL should be able to quickly get to 10 million subscribers. Merrill Lynch based their buy recommendations (stock at $25) based on 11 Million subs for 97.
