Speaking truth to power should have never become Republican vs. Democratic. All modern people should seek and share facts, and examine assumptions with civility. And debate from there. And express it in multiple ways that do not break the laws. But velocity of old beliefs and bias has become the big ingredient in modern conservative vs. liberal. And ACTUAL education, ranging from history to biology to art, is seen as a partisan threat, not liberation and hope. Such is true with reaction to our film makers and entertainers. According to the Michael Savage (Huge Trump supporter who is a regular guest) Hollywood is fill of "hook nosed" communists and vermin making cultural trash. The power behind the promulgation of fear and ignorance? Money (especially fatcats surrounded by fluffers, accountants, lawyers and lobbyists); Guns Jesus. The trap we must overcome? Lack of thinking about critical thinking, logical fallacy and propensity to confirmation bias vs. constantly improving fact-based awakenings from better sources than manipulative legal PR, and Madison Ave. propaganda.
