Aloha, Happy! >By denying [the paranormal's] existance, are we saying that we know everything there is to know about everything ?< Well - no. Some of us are saying that we will not believe/accept the claimed properties of the paranormal until they've passed some meaningful reality tests - especially tests which minimize subjectibve testimony. It's pretty obvious to all of us here (except maybe the proselytizers) that we know nealy nothing about anything. (Accept this as a confession - not a flame.) But that doesn't keep a lot of us from maintaining a healthy skepticism. Especially about things which seem to directly tickle our Belief Circuitry - like religion, Area 51, or the Jewish Fed Conspiracy. Or "fair valuation" among 'Net stocks. :-)
