Bob, I'm currently a benefactor of cable modem access. I have also worked with T1. But the 256k download 64k up gives reasonable response to thin client apps. The continued spread of cable and adsl make thin-client operation more desirable. But even so PCs running linux make great thin-clients and they are also PCs. The model makes more sense in business intranets with custom apps. This is applixes realm.
