Very nice article on the front page of tomorrow's WSJ on the growth of computer sales. It says "the personal computer industry now has concrete evidence that the sales of sub $1000 machines is EXPANDING the penetration of P.C. sales into U.S. households rather than just cannibalizing sales." Goes on to say that Dataquest found that U.S. unit shipments jumped 18.5% in the fourth quarter, resulting in a booming 20.9% growth rate for the entire year.
